Our data shows a clear and powerful insight: when this feature is automatically enabled, merchants who proactively message its availability have seen dramatically better results. We've identified two proven strategies to maximize your impact.

Approach 1: Highlight Affirm on Apple Pay early in the shopping journey

A leading U.S. footwear and apparel retailer highlighted Affirm on Apple Pay across both product detail and checkout pages. These placements combined with a limited-time offer, such as 0% APR financing with clear “as low as" messaging, drove impressive results(2):

  • Achieved nearly 4x higher sales

  • Increased Average Order Value (AOV) by ~15%
